Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption AssociationHayden is a thoughtful and driven young person with a strong love for learning and a clear vision for the future. His aunt has been a strong support for him through everything. He enjoys reading, exploring new ideas, and challenging himself academically as he prepares for the next chapter of life. Hayden is especially excited about going to college and aims to become a middle school counselor to support and guide other kids through their challenges. He also enjoys spending time unwinding with activities like playing murder mystery games, which allow him to think critically while having fun. His curiosity and passion for understanding others truly stand out. Hayden experienced the heartbreaking loss of his parents in a car accident. Despite this unimaginable hardship, he continues to show incredible strength and resilience. He remains focused on his goals and determined to turn his experiences into something meaningful by helping others. Hayden’s compassion, perseverance, and hope for the future make him an inspiring young person with so much potential ahead.
Hayden is hoping for an e-bike so he can get to work and start building independence as he prepares for his future. He is starting his first job and is motivated to work hard and save money before going to college. Right now, he would need to walk about 3 miles each way, which will be very difficult to keep up long-term. After losing his parents in a car accident, Hayden struggled for many months to even leave the house. Starting this job is a big and meaningful step for him. Being in a car is still very hard for him, so an e-bike would give him a way to get to work without that stress and without having to walk such a long distance. He is currently living with his aunt and working hard to move forward. This opportunity is an important step in his healing and growth, and reliable transportation would help him succeed and build confidence. For Hayden, an e-bike is more than just transportation. It is a way to keep his job, start saving for his future, and move toward independence.
