Alexis is a creative and determined young woman who has faced a challenging home life and foster care experience, yet she still has much to offer. Her journey through foster care began at the age of six, and she has lived in four different foster homes. One adoption attempt fell through because she didn't want to be separated from her brother. Alexis is musically talented; she plays the guitar, piano, ukulele, and a bit of trumpet. She has started recording her own songs and is considering a career in music. Despite her troubled past and inconsistent life circumstances, she remains very optimistic and is always eager to solve problems. Alexis is also generous and enjoys sharing her kindness and energy with those around her.

Getting a driver's license would mean the world to Alexis. Having her license would greatly expand her job search area, as she has only been able to apply to jobs within walking distance. She would also be the first person in her family to get a car and license, which is very exciting! Learning new skills is very important to Alexis. She hopes that with a license, she will be able to explore more of the world around her. She will also be the first person in her family to obtain her license!
