Mackenzie is a bright and playful girl who loves all things colorful and fun. She is especially drawn to bright colors and enjoys exploring the world through sights, movement, and play. Her joyful energy shines through in the way she engages with her surroundings. Mackenzie is autistic and nonverbal, but she communicates in her own unique and meaningful ways. She expresses herself through her actions, expressions, and the things that bring her happiness. She loves to play, explore, and experience the world around her at her own pace. Mackenzie’s sweet spirit and love for fun make her a special girl with so much to offer. With continued support and understanding, she continues to grow, connect, and bring joy to those around her.

Mackenzie wishes for an AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) device to help her express her thoughts, needs, and feelings. As a nonverbal child, having a reliable way to communicate would open up new opportunities for connection and understanding. An AAC device would give Mackenzie a voice in her everyday life—allowing her to make choices, share what she enjoys, and interact more easily with caregivers and others around her. It would support her development and help reduce frustration by giving her a way to be heard. For Mackenzie, this isn’t just a device—it’s a powerful tool that supports communication, independence, and meaningful connection with the world around her.
