Sara is an incredible young girl, smart and resilient. Currently, she and her older brother are staying with a family friend while their father and stepmother are being detained. Tragically, Sara's biological mother passed away from complications related to COVID-19 and infections when Sara was just a baby, leaving a lingering void in her life. Life has been challenging for her guardians, coming from Venezuela, as they strive to find stable work and housing to provide for both Sara and her brother. Sara and her brother have felt a deep sadness, missing their family. Like any girl her age, Sara enjoys the simple pleasures of life: playing with her dolls, watching YouTube, dancing, and indulging in arts and crafts, as well as enjoying video games. Her favorite color, purple, reflects her vibrant spirit. Despite the challenges she faces, Sara embodies hope and strength, reminding us all of the power of resilience and the importance of community support

Sara is a sweet young girl who has been going through a difficult time. With Mother’s Day coming up, she is feeling sad about being away from her parents, and it is also affecting her brother. Going to Sesame Place to see Elmo would really cheer her up. Visiting during the summer would give Sara a chance to relax, have fun, and just enjoy being a kid.
