Josiah is a very shy and kind boy who enjoys spending his time reading books. After school, he likes to ride his scooter and spend time with his friends, which helps him come out of his shell and enjoy being active. His family is really struggling. Josiah is living in public housing with his uncle and eight other children.

Josiah has a birthday this month and is excited to celebrate his special day. He would love a new pair of sneakers for his birthday. Having a fresh pair of sneakers would help him feel proud, confident, and special on his big day.
