Erik is currently in care and living with his grandmother, who is his permanent placement if reunification with his mother is not possible. He visits with his mother and hopes to reunify with her. Erik enjoys playing baseball and basketball and likes spending time outdoors. He currently does not have a bike. He is doing well in his grandmother’s care, and she is very supportive, often praising his abilities and wanting to see him succeed.

Erik would love a bike. It would benefit him by encouraging outdoor time, physical activity, and opportunities to interact with others. Having a bike would also help Erik feel good about himself and more included among his peers, as many of them already have bikes. It would give him the chance to go to the bike park with friends and enjoy activities without feeling left out.
