Audra is a survivor of domestic violence. After aging out of the foster care system, she became involved with a man who physically, mentally, and financially abused her. Fearing for the safety and well-being of her child, Audra found the courage to leave her boyfriend and currently resides with a friend. She is dealing with anxiety and PTSD but has begun her journey to healing. The transition has been challenging for her, but she is making progress. Audra has started therapy and is considering going back to school to pursue her long-held dream of becoming a nurse, a goal she had before becoming involved with her ex. Despite all the pain and trauma she has endured, Audra is determined to regain control of her life and build a better future for herself and her child.

Audra is super excited! Her therapy group is doing a special group activity where the participants will be dressing up and enjoying an evening out. Audra hasn’t been out since her baby was born and could really use one evening of no stress. It would make Audra so happy to receive a beautiful pair of shoes that she recently saw online. They would be the perfect finishing touch for outfit.
