Carl is a very happy-go-lucky young man who loves comic books, music, fishing, and drawing. He has some special needs and was recently removed from his home. Carl was not placed with his younger siblings because he needs more assistance with his daily living functions. He has not allowed his placement in foster care to stop his desire to work hard in school so that he can graduate on time. Carl does not allow his disability to stop his enjoyment of life. He loves visiting with his siblings every weekend and always has pictures for them to take back of his drawings.

Carl was recently asked to go to senior prom at the end of this month. He was very surprised and excited to be asked by a young lady he has had a crush on all school year. Carl has been working quickly to get his suit and accessories ready. He has already been able to purchase some of the items he needs for prom. He is now hoping for a pair of purple Jordans to match his suit. Carl is looking forward to celebrating his high school achievements by attending prom. This experience means a lot to him, and he would be very happy if this wish comes true.
