Lance is a sweet and energetic boy who loves to smile and bring joy to those around him. He is the third of four children and the middle boy in his family. Lance has been diagnosed with autism, and while he experiences challenges at times, he continues to show incredible resilience and happiness. Despite difficult experiences early in life, Lance continues to approach the world with curiosity and excitement. He has a bright personality and enjoys the simple things that make him happy. Some of Lance’s favorite things include Spider-Man, Toy Story, Buzz Lightyear, and Baby Shark. He also loves oranges, which are one of his favorite snacks. Lance enjoys activities that allow him to move, explore, and engage with the characters and music he loves. Lance’s smile and joyful spirit make him a very special little boy. With encouragement and support, he continues to grow, learn, and share his light with everyone around him. He and his family are struggling with housing instability.

Lance is getting ready to graduate from preschool and start kindergarten, which is a big and exciting change for him. Transitions can sometimes feel overwhelming, so having a comforting stuffed animal would help him feel more calm and reassured. A Build-A-Bear experience would let Lance create his own special stuffed animal to celebrate this milestone and give him a friend to bring along into his new school journey. A voice recording would make it even more special by giving him kind, encouraging words he can listen to whenever he needs comfort.
