Arizona's Children AssociationMonique is a strong and resilient young woman who has overcome many challenges in her life. She entered foster care during her teenage years and later lived under the guardianship of her great-aunt to gain stability. Throughout everything, she has stayed close with her family, especially her dad and brothers, who remain an important part of her support system. She currently lives with her biological mother, and they support each other while working hard to manage basic needs. Monique helps with rent when she can and also contributes to expenses like gas and food. Her mom recently started a new job, and they are both working together to build stability. Monique is a quick learner with strong communication skills and a great ability to adapt to difficult situations. She enjoys music, playing basketball, and has a creative interest in cars, especially customizing them. Most of all, she is kind, determined, and focused on building a better future for herself.
Monique is working hard to build a more stable and independent future. One important step for her is being able to use her computer to create a resume and apply for jobs. Right now, she cannot use her computer because her charger stopped working. This is making it hard for her to move forward with her job goals. A new charger would allow her to use her computer again to complete applications, update important documents, and access helpful resources. This support would help Monique continue working toward her goals and building the future she is committed to achieving.
