Paris is the youngest of five children and is being raised by a hardworking single mother who has dedicated herself to supporting and caring for her family. Paris travels back and forth between her mother’s and father’s homes and has learned to adapt through many transitions while continuing to stay focused on her goals and future. She is a playful, outgoing, and determined young lady who loves being involved in school activities. Paris has participated in ROTC, choir, cheerleading, and basketball, all while maintaining good grades and working hard academically. Her dedication and perseverance recently led to her being accepted into Ohio Wesleyan University, where she will attend in the fall after receiving a $5,000 scholarship. She plans to study Performing Arts and hopes to eventually join the military after completing school. Although Paris has faced emotional and mental challenges that many teenagers should never have to carry, she continues taking life one day at a time with strength and resilience. She is focused on creating a brighter future for herself while continuing to grow personally and academically. Paris is excited for this next chapter and all the opportunities that college will bring.

Paris has worked very hard to reach this important milestone in her life. Paris was recently accepted into Ohio Wesleyan University and received a scholarship. She will start in the fall to study Performing Arts, which is something she is very proud of. In high school, she stayed active in ROTC, choir, cheerleading, and basketball while keeping up strong grades. Paris has never had the chance to eat at Black Rock Steakhouse and would love to celebrate her graduation with a special dinner there. A gift card would let her enjoy a meaningful meal with her family to celebrate her hard work and achievements. This experience would help her celebrate her success and remind her how proud others are of her strength and determination.
