Destiny is a smart young lady who was placed in foster care after being discharged from acute care. Destiny has had many challenges in her life but has not allowed those challenges to stop her from smiling and showing love. Destiny has come a long way and continues to get better each day. She wants to be a teacher one day to help other young people who struggle with learning. Destiny loves to color and paint. She loves to listen to music and walk on the beach picking seashells.

Destiny is graduating from high school in two weeks after working extremely hard all year to pass her classes and required testing. She has been accepted into a four-year university where she plans to study Early Education, with the goal of becoming a school teacher one day. Destiny has also been awarded a scholarship that will cover 80% of her tuition. She is requesting a backpack to carry her laptop for college. This support would help ease a financial burden as she prepares for college and works toward becoming independent and successful in her next chapter.
