Matilde is a vibrant and determined teenager with an intellectual disability who refuses to let challenges slow her down. Facing significant trauma in her early childhood, Matilde has been in foster care for several years. She is now in a stable and loving home where she is able to foster her love for spending time outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, and dancing to music. Matilde eagerly jumps at any opportunity to participate in the Special Olympics, where she thrives on teamwork and encouragement.

Matilde will be entering her sophomore year of high school and is in need of additional uniform clothing as she continues to grow. In the past, different agencies helped provide clothing, but that assistance is no longer available, and she will need new clothes for the fall. Support with this would help Matilde pick out exactly what she needs so she can start the school year feeling comfortable, confident, and prepared.
