Journ and her five siblings entered foster care due to concerns about abuse in their biological home. Although they are currently living in separate homes, Journ makes a conscious effort to stay connected with her siblings, whom she misses dearly. Fortunately, she is residing with a family she knows well and has lived with before, which provides her with a sense of comfort and familiarity during this challenging time. Journ has a bright smile and a love for playing outside, always eager to stay active. Despite the difficulties she has faced, she remains hopeful and looks forward to the possibility of being reunited with her siblings one day.

Journ loves to climb on everything, including couches, chairs, and jungle gym equipment at the playground. She was recently diagnosed with ADHD and a sensory processing disorder, and she benefits greatly from activities that provide sensory input and allow her to stay active. This jungle gym would give Journ a safe and fun outlet for climbing and movement while spending time outside in the backyard of her kinship foster home. As the weather gets nicer, it would provide her with an engaging way to play, explore, and meet her sensory needs.
