Jessica has been learning how to manage life more independently and take responsibility for her future. She's working to rebuild and strengthen her relationship with her parents while setting healthy boundaries and growing into adulthood. Jessica is in extended care and was recently moved to a new foster home after her previous placement’s licensing ended. Despite these changes that are outside of her control, she has been working hard to adjust and stay focused on her goals. She is currently taking college courses to continue her education and build a stable future for herself. Jessica has also recently connected with a mentor and is working toward finding a part-time job to begin supporting herself. Reliable transportation would make a significant difference for her, especially living in a city known for its hills. An e-bike would help her get to school, the grocery store, and other essential places more easily. This support would greatly increase her independence and help her continue moving forward.
