Nafia entered foster care at 17 after growing up in a home where her mother’s mental health challenges made it difficult to provide the care and support she needed. As an only child, she has had to navigate much of her childhood trauma on her own, developing a quiet strength and emotional resilience along the way. She is thoughtful, independent, and learning to create a stable and peaceful life for herself. Her journey has not been easy, but she continues to focus on healing and building a better future.

Nafia is very proud of herself for having her own place and continuing to work toward her goals. As she is still figuring out what’s next for her future, she hopes to create an inspiring and comfortable space where she can study, work, and grow in her studio apartment. She would be so happy to get some help with this desk!
