The Lost & Found InstituteLayla entered foster care at twelve after running away from home. Her life before was unstable, but she's learned to navigate the system. She is now focused on her future and determined to move past her past experiences. She lives in a foster home and is slowly opening up to a few supportive people. Layla dreams of becoming a tattoo artist because drawing has always helped her express herself. She wants to use tattooing to tell stories and promote healing and empowerment.
Layla is asking for a food processor for her birthday as she continues learning how to cook and explore making meals with fresh ingredients. She has been interested in trying new recipes, preparing healthier foods, and building confidence in the kitchen, and a food processor would make that journey much easier and more exciting for her. From chopping vegetables and blending sauces to preparing homemade meals and snacks, this gift would give her the tools to continue learning valuable cooking skills while encouraging creativity and independence. A food processor would be something she could use often as she discovers new ways to cook with fresh, nutritious ingredients and grow her passion for cooking.
