Alyssa is an alumnus of the foster care system who is actively pursuing her journey toward independent living. She is deeply involved with Silver Lining Mentoring, where she serves on the leadership council. Alyssa is passionate about giving back to youth currently in foster care and to organizations that support them by sharing her story and advocating for meaningful changes. She is an incredibly kind and caring individual who ensures that those around her feel seen and heard.

Alyssa is looking for a countertop ice maker to help stay cool during the hot summer months. Since her freezer doesn’t have a built-in ice maker and can’t hold many ice trays, she wants an easy way to quickly make and access ice at home.
