Dolly is a happy child, always smiling and giggling. She loves to rock back and forth, play with dolls, and be outside. Dolly has autism and is non-verbal, and is trying to learn sign language. Her older sister loves her and they have a good connection. Her biological mother is working hard to get her children back.

Dolly benefits from sensory activities to help with emotional regulation. She loves using her sit-n-spin and swinging at the playground. Her biological mother has a “raindrop” swing that can be used indoors or outside, and Dolly would love to have one at her foster home as well. Having this swing would give her a calming space to use after school, especially during difficult transitions from school to home, helping her regulate her emotions and feel more at ease.
