Jax is a sweet boy whose smile lights up the room. Like most children his age, he loves Paw Patrol, Cocomelon, and Sesame Street. However, Jax is different because he has been diagnosed with autism, a sensory disorder, and a speech delay. For him, every day is a struggle to find ways to communicate with his family in a way they can understand. Jax experienced a breakthrough when he spoke his first word at the age of five; his first word was "mama."

Jax’s birthday is coming up, and he is very excited to celebrate his special day. As a child with autism, he has made great progress in learning daily skills, like cleaning up after meals and using sign language to ask for help or get attention from loved ones. This year, Jax is really looking forward to a fun birthday outing. He would love to go to Legoland because he enjoys building and also loves rides he can enjoy with family and friends. Celebrating at Legoland would make his birthday extra special and also celebrate how far he has come.
