After being separated from his parents, Moises spent 6 years in the foster care system, where he learned the importance of resilience, empathy, and compassion. Despite the pressure to engage in risky behaviors, Moises had the courage to seek help and prioritize his wellbeing. He feels extremely blessed to have been able to reconnect with his parents later in life, and now cherishes the time they spend together. Moises is proud of the obstacles he has overcome, and is now pursuing his goals of becoming a licensed clinical social worker, being a home owner, and starting a family with his partner.

Moises loves traveling, exploring nature, and capturing special moments through photography. He is currently planning a trip to Hawaii with his partner and is excited about the opportunity to experience new places, create memories, and document his journey. He has always had a strong interest in photography and has dreamed since childhood of owning a GoPro. Having one would allow him to capture his adventures in a hands-free and meaningful way, preserving the moments, experiences, and encounters that matter most to him. This gift would not only support his upcoming trip but also help him continue growing his passion for photography and storytelling through images.
