Nayeli has been in the foster care system for over four years. She has disabilities that can limit her ability to participate in activities in the same way as other children her age; however, with the appropriate supports in place, she is able to enjoy many of the same activities. Nayeli is friendly and enjoys advocating for herself. She loves Barbie and Stitch and finds joy in activities related to her interests.

Nayeli is preparing for an exciting summer trip to Disney, which she is looking forward to. She is especially excited to see her favorite Disney characters and experience the rides and attractions. Nayeli has some disabilities that can make long days of walking and stimulation more challenging for her. Having a stroller available will help her rest when she becomes tired and better enjoy the experience without becoming overwhelmed. It will also provide her with a safe and secure space in a busy and unfamiliar environment. In addition, Nayeli has a tendency to elope at times. A stroller will help keep her safe and close to her caregivers in crowded areas, reducing safety concerns while allowing her to fully participate in the trip. With these supports in place, Nayeli will be able to enjoy her Disney experience more comfortably, safely, and confidently.
