She has an emotional support animal named Anubis, whom she deeply loves and considers her best friend. Niyah endured significant trauma during her childhood, but she is not yet ready to share those details. Having learned to be independent and provide for herself from a young age, she finds it especially difficult to ask for support, as she is used to being turned away.
Niyah is asking for a gift card to help her purchase summer clothes. As the weather gets warmer, she is hoping to update her wardrobe with pieces that will keep her comfortable and confident throughout the season. She is also starting an internship this summer and would like to buy a few more professional outfits to wear while working. Being able to choose clothing that fits both her personal style and her new work environment would mean a lot to her and help her feel more confident as she begins this exciting opportunity.
