Roy is a child who is mature beyond his years. He helped take care of his sick older brother and watched him slowly pass away. After his brother's death, Roy was removed from his home due to severe abuse and neglect. He has difficulty making sense of the traumatic experiences he witnessed. Despite this, Roy is a bright young man who enjoys being active and playing outside. Currently in foster care, he struggles to find his place. He has a wonderful, creative mind and enjoys fixing things. Roy is learning to appreciate the joys of childhood, such as riding a bike.

Roy is excited because all his friends had 3-dragons. He really wants to fit in and wishes to have one too. After choosing a color he loved, he imagines playing with his friends and having all sorts of fun. Roy is ready for adventures with his new dragon and his friends!
