Eddrick has aged out of foster care and is participating in an Independent Living Program as he works toward becoming fully self-sufficient. He is optimistic about his future and is eager to continue developing the skills needed for adulthood. Eddrick has a strong interest in technology and hopes to attend a technology training program to help prepare for a successful career. Eddrick is respectful, independent, and mature. He communicates his needs clearly and is not afraid to ask questions when he needs clarification. He is open to feedback and values advice that helps him grow and improve. Those who know him describe him as engaging, thoughtful, and motivated to better himself. In his free time, Eddrick enjoys playing video games and learning about technology. While he maintains communication with his brothers and sisters, his family lives several hours away in Memphis, and direct support is limited. Even with these challenges, Eddrick continues to work hard toward his goals and remains determined to create a stable and successful future for himself.

Since entering a transitional living program, Eddrick has worked incredibly hard to build a stable and independent future for himself. In a short amount of time, he has secured two jobs and is actively applying for educational programs to further his career goals. He is taking full advantage of every opportunity available to him and is committed to creating a successful path forward. As Eddrick prepares to move into a more independent housing program, one of the biggest challenges he faces is transportation. The new housing location will place him farther from his current workplace, making it difficult to get to and from work reliably. Without dependable transportation, maintaining employment could become a significant obstacle. An ebike would provide Eddrick with the reliable transportation he needs to continue working, attend school-related commitments, and remain focused on his goals. An ebike would support his independence, self-sufficiency, and ability to maintain the stability he has worked so hard to achieve.
