Sam has been in kinship care for many years and hopes to be adopted by his foster parents someday. Despite the challenges he has faced within the system, he graduated from high school! Sam loves working on cars and other machines, and he looks forward to applying these skills in the workforce this fall.

Sam is starting an internship with CAT equipment, where he will balance classroom learning with hands-on experience. To help him concentrate on his work, especially while adjusting to living with roommates for the first time and spending time in the field, he plans to use some quality headphones. With his birthday coming up, this could also be a wonderful way to celebrate him!
