Amaris was adopted through the foster care system after experiencing three placements before joining her adoptive family. Born seven weeks premature, she was initially diagnosed with failure to thrive. However, she has since grown into a healthy girl who enjoys singing, dancing, and participating in sports. Always on the move, she is very active.

Amaris is very energetic and enjoys playing volleyball. She often practices by hitting the volleyball in her yard and wishes she had a net to play a proper game. Having a net at home would help her prepare for tryouts at school.
