Elijah came into care due to homelessness and a lack of available family support. His foster family describes him as a likable kid who naturally draws people in. Others genuinely want to see him succeed. When you meet Elijah, it’s hard not to be in his corner and root for him. He enjoys staying active, especially spending time outdoors and playing sports. After a period of not being able to attend school, he’s hopeful about getting involved in school sports and building a routine again. In his downtime, Elijah is excited about video games, getting his first phone, and making new friends. More than anything, he’s looking forward to building a strong, supportive community around him.

Elijah recently experienced homelessness and is now finding stability in a foster home, where he is beginning to rebuild and look ahead to the future. He is excited to start his new summer job and is working hard toward creating a fresh start for himself. Like many teens, he enjoys gaming as a way to relax, decompress, and connect with others in his free time. He is hoping for a refurbished PlayStation 2 to enjoy after work and on weekends.
