Kieghlyn is currently in a kinship foster care placement, focused on building trust, responsibility, and stability. She and her caregiver are requesting security cameras in the home to keep Kieghlyn safe and well. Due to her history of leaving the home when feeling overwhelmed, these cameras would allow her caregiver to quickly identify if she has exited, providing a crucial layer of safety. This request reflects Kieghlyn’s desire to grow, build trust with her caregivers, and develop her independence and decision-making skills.
