Alex has spent much of his childhood navigating the challenges of foster care, family separation, and significant trauma. Like many youth in care, he has experienced loss, uncertainty, and the emotional impact of being separated from people and places that were important to him. Despite these hardships, Alex has continued to move forward with strength and determination. Over the years, he has worked hard to build trust, develop healthy coping skills, and create a positive future for himself. While his journey has not been easy, he has never stopped trying. Alex is kind-hearted, funny, energetic, and incredibly resilient. He enjoys making people laugh and brings enthusiasm and positivity to the things he loves. Alex has a passion for music and can often be found singing and dancing. He also enjoys playing video games, collecting action figures, building with LEGO sets, and adding to his growing collection of plushies. His joyful personality, sense of humor, and perseverance continue to help him overcome challenges and embrace new opportunities.

Alex loves being outdoors and staying active. For several years, he has been hoping for an e-bike. He enjoys riding bikes and likes the idea of having extra power to help him travel longer distances, ride up hills more easily, and keep going when he gets tired. As Alex prepares for adulthood, he is working hard to develop important life skills, including workplace expectations, responsibility, communication, and independence. He has made tremendous progress and continues to stay focused on building confidence and creating a successful future for himself. One of the challenges he faces is limited transportation, which can make it difficult to access opportunities and activities. An ebike would provide Alex with greater independence and mobility. It would allow him to travel farther than he could on a traditional bike or by walking, giving him more freedom to get around his community and participate in activities that support his growth and development. This wish would not only help with transportation but also encourage his confidence, self-reliance, and continued progress toward adulthood.
