Rusty has been in the foster care system since he was born. He has moved from place to place but always maintains a happy and grateful attitude. He makes an effort to be punctual and is very appreciative of any help he receives. His most recent placement, before aging out of the foster system, is with his disabled brother. Once he turns 18, he will need to relocate soon afterward. His top priority has been working full-time to help make ends meet. When he’s not on the job, he enjoys spending time with friends and working on his truck.

Rusty will need basic items for his bathroom, such as a shower curtain and towels. This is his first apartment, and since he doesn't have family support, he will need to acquire all of these essentials on his own. He would like the opportunity to choose his own items because decisions have typically been made by others in his life. Rusty wants to take control of his own space!
