Haley is a hardworking mom of three children. She is interested in obtaining her college degree in teaching. She is inspired to be a teacher so that she can homeschool her son, who was recently diagnosed with autism. By becoming a teacher, Haley will be able to create a learning environment that would better meet her son's sensory and unique needs. She believes it is critical for all children to have learning environments that support them in learning and where they can be their best selves. Haley is resilient and tries her best at everything she puts her mind to. Haley has lived experience as a child survivor of Human Trafficking and spent most of her time in foster and residential care until she aged out at 21.

Haley has been breastfeeding and continues to be an important part of how she cares for her daughter. Her current breast pump has worn out over time and is no longer working as effectively as it once did. As a full-time college student and a full-time mom of three, she relies on her pump every single day. When the pump doesn’t work properly, it directly affects her ability to feed her daughter and to manage keeping up with everything she's juggling. A new pump would allow her to continue breastfeeding safely and consistently while still pursuing her education and caring for her family. This support would make a real difference in her ability to keep providing for her daughter the way I have for the last two and a half years.
