Avian aged out of foster care after being placed with her grandparents in Texas. However, due to their religious beliefs, she felt isolated and unaccepted, which led her to return to Spokane. During her time in state custody, she experienced trauma while living in group home facilities. Although she moved back to Spokane, she couldn't live with her parents since she spent most of her childhood in state care and does not have a relationship with them. Despite these challenges, Avian is determined and manages her education, personal responsibilities, and long-term goals effectively.

Avian is preparing to start college and is asking for a gift card to help create a wardrobe that makes her feel confident and comfortable as she steps into this new chapter of life. She is really excited to explore new styles, express herself, and step into college feeling beautiful and prepared. Having this support would mean so much to her as she begins this exciting journey toward her future.
