Paris is the youngest of five children and is being raised by a hardworking single mother who has dedicated herself to supporting and caring for her family. Paris travels back and forth between her mother’s and father’s homes and has learned to adapt through many transitions while continuing to stay focused on her goals and future. She is a playful, outgoing, and determined young lady who loves being involved in school activities. Paris has participated in ROTC, choir, cheerleading, and basketball, all while maintaining good grades and working hard academically. Her dedication and perseverance recently led to her acceptance to Ohio Wesleyan University, and she plans to study Performing Arts and hopes to eventually join the military after completing school. Although Paris has faced emotional and mental challenges that many teenagers should never have to carry, she continues taking life one day at a time with strength and resilience. She is focused on creating a brighter future for herself while continuing to grow personally and academically. Paris is excited for this next chapter and all the opportunities that college will bring.

As Paris prepares to leave for Ohio Wesleyan University this fall, she would like to gather the essentials she will need to live independently in a dorm setting. A microwave would allow her to safely prepare quick meals and snacks while balancing classes, rehearsals, and studying. Pink is her favorite color; having this microwave would reflect her personality and help make her dorm room feel more like home during this exciting transition. This would provide both convenience and comfort as she begins her college experience.
