She hopes to become a K9 officer in the Army one day, and she also enjoys machining and welding, which she pursues as extracurricular activities at school. In her free time, she volunteers at a local farm, helping to care for the animals. Everyone who meets Caitlin comments on the joy she brings to their lives!
Caitlin is preparing for her first overnight camp, where electronics are not allowed, and she has shared how much she would love to bring a few new books with her. Reading is one of her main coping skills and a consistent source of comfort, especially when she’s in a new or unfamiliar environment. Providing her with books she’s genuinely excited about will help her stay entertained during downtime and better prepared for this important milestone.
