Jane is a bubbly and self-motivated individual who recently reunited with her mother after spending several years in and out of foster care. Although the journey to reunification has been challenging, Jane has consistently remained focused on her goals of graduating, becoming a hairstylist, and getting involved in boxing.

Now that Jane is back in her mother’s care, the family no longer receives the financial support associated with foster care, and essentials such as clothing can be difficult to afford. As a teen finding her way, Jane’s personal style is important to her and helps her stay confident in the face of adversity. Jane wishes to go to the store and pick out the perfect pair of shoes herself, something she has never had the opportunity to do before. Granting this wish would allow Jane to start her new school and boxing program feeling confident, comfortable, and true to herself.
