Ava is living with her older sister at their maternal grandmother's house. Also living there is her older brother, who has aged out of foster care. Ava is a joy to be around and hopes to be reunited with her mother one day. For now, she is very happy to be with her older siblings. Ava loves being involved in the school drama club and excels at making friends!

Ava has had a very successful school year despite facing a number of challenges along the way. She works hard every day to overcome difficulties with concentration and comprehension and receives additional support to help meet her learning needs. Through her determination, perseverance, and positive attitude, Ava has continued to make progress and put forth her best effort in her classes. As a special end-of-the-school-year treat, Ava would love a gift card to Starbucks so she can enjoy her favorite drinks and snacks. This small reward would be a wonderful way to celebrate all of her hard work and recognize the effort she has put into making this school year a success.
