Shay is a quiet and shy girl who experienced extreme neglect. She is mentally and emotionally younger than her age due to the things she's been through, so she likes playing with her baby dolls.

Shay and her siblings have weekly visits. Now that the weather is nice out, they will be doing outdoor activities whenever they can. On the occasional bad weather day, they will need something to do indoors. Shay has never been to the movies before.
