Michael is a devoted father of three who works in the custodial department at Princeton University. He enjoys reading and aspires to start a non-profit organization focused on suicide prevention. Michael plans to return to school to study business marketing. He loves taking walks in nature and finds joy in creative activities such as drawing, painting, and nature photography. He especially enjoys capturing images of the woods, the moon, and the morning sunrise—pretty much anything that inspires him!

One of Michael’s favorite activities is getting outside and going hiking. While he was living in his car, this was not always possible, and it felt like a luxury he could not often enjoy. Now that he is in his own transitional housing apartment, he is looking forward to getting back to the outdoors. Michael is hoping a sturdy backpack will help him go on longer hikes again. Having a reliable backpack would allow him to carry what he needs comfortably and safely, helping him stay active and reconnect with something he truly enjoys.
