Terrence is foster youth who is funny and a solid friend to everyone who knows him. He is enrolled in a program designed to support high school students in care as they prepare for college, careers, and independent living. This year-round initiative focuses on leadership, academics, and life skills.

This summer, Terrence will embark on a transformative three-week experience designed to inspire confidence, curiosity, and future planning. Alongside 60 other youth from foster care, he will travel to New York, where he will experience college life firsthand, explore career possibilities, and engage with communities and cultures different from his own. For many participants, opportunities like this are rare and can spark new dreams and ambitions that last a lifetime. Terrence is asking for a digital camera to capture the moments. He's friendly and a peacemaker amongst his peers. He'll probably focus on pictures of his friends, lots of selfies at all the fun attractions they will stop and see along the way.
