Island is a wonderful student and a good friend to others. She often smiles and encourages her peers. Island enjoys being active and aspires to be a positive role model for her sister. She also loves to create things and enjoys doing crafts. She's being supported by South Dakota DSS.

Island would love to try Mexican candy and has chosen a box of assorted sweets to enjoy and share with her sister. This is meaningful to her because it reminds her of times she spent with her family enjoying Mexican candy together. Having it again would bring back those happy memories and give her a special treat to enjoy and share.
