Paying It Forward IncKatia is studying to become a lawyer who will advocate for siblings staying together in foster care. She loves crafting, singing, and exploring with her younger siblings, who she has reconnected with. She was born with a condition affecting her lumbar spine and despite years of physical therapy, walking long distances has become increasingly difficult.
Katia's ability to walk has continued to decline. She has a full life she wants to live: her siblings, college, the career she is working toward. A mobility scooter would let her keep up with all of it. It would let her go places and stay active and stop having to say no to things because her body cannot make it there.
