Anais has had a challenging early childhood, moving around a lot in care. She is an energetic little girl who loves her sister dearly. Anais enjoys playing with her stuffed animals, coloring, and spending time with friends.

Anais loves to swim! She has just overcome her fear of the water and now looks more like a mermaid than a little girl. She has so much fun splashing around in the water. However, her foster mom is worried that the chlorine exposure all summer may make Anais's hair brittle and prone to breakage. African hair is delicate and requires special care. Therefore, she is requesting a special satin-lined cap for Anais to wear this summer, which will help protect her beautiful braids while she swims. Anais will be so happy to know she doesn't have to shy away from fun in the sun!
