Gabriel is a young man in foster care who is living in a facility. He has been through so much trauma in his life, but he is working hard to overcome this. He struggles with regulating his emotions, but is doing better lately. He likes to listen to music and draw. He is not a fan of going to school, but his favorite subject is science. He has so much potential and will do great things in life once this chapter is over.

Gabriel enjoys listening to music and has found it to be a helpful coping tool. Recently, he has expressed interest in learning how to play the guitar. His therapist believes this could be very beneficial for him, as it would provide a positive and creative outlet. It would also give him a healthy way to focus and self-soothe when his emotions start to feel overwhelming, while helping him build a new skill he can continue to grow over time.
