NM CYFD - San Juan CountyElizabeth has been in foster care for several years. She loves playing outside and enjoys reading books. Elizabeth also has a passion for creating craft projects. Spending time with her neighborhood friends brings her joy. However, she needs extra help with her schoolwork, especially in math. At times, Elizabeth struggles to express her feelings to those around her.
Elizabeth loves Winnie the Pooh and finds comfort in the character. She has been in foster care for several years and has recently experienced the separation from her younger sister, which has been difficult for her and has brought up feelings of sadness. Despite these challenges, Elizabeth has been working on improving herself and continuing to move forward in a positive way. A weighted Winnie the Pooh would bring her comfort during this time and provide a sense of calm and emotional support when she is feeling overwhelmed.
