Zebo has been placed in foster care due to a history of neglect and physical abuse. He was recently diagnosed with PTSD and struggles with anxiety that can manifest as inattentiveness, self-harm (such as head banging), or running away. Zebo currently has a provisional diagnosis of Autism, along with an anxiety disorder stemming from his hair-pulling behavior. His caregivers are working to obtain a comprehensive Autism assessment to remove the "provisional" designation, which will enhance Zebo's access to care, especially as the case leads to adoption. Zebo is also focusing on developmental milestones, such as identifying colors, and may soon work with a feeding coach to help him adjust to eating with his front teeth. Despite these challenges, Zebo remains an adventurous and determined child. Zebo is incredibly intelligent, curious, and full of energy. He loves sensory play, especially anything involving water, slides, and active movement. He is fascinated by dinosaurs and sharks and can do an impressive pterodactyl impression that always makes people smile. While making friends can sometimes be difficult for him, he enjoys being around other children when he can engage in play on his own terms. Those who know him would describe him as sweet, bright, adventurous, and resilient.

Zebo is a highly energetic, sensory-seeking child who thrives when he has opportunities to move, explore, and engage with the world around him. One of his favorite activities is playing on bounce houses and water slides, which provide the sensory input he enjoys while giving him a fun and positive outlet for his energy. This large inflatable water slide would make an incredible birthday gift for Zebo. He currently has a smaller inflatable that he absolutely loves, but after frequent use by Zebo and his friends, it is already developing holes and showing significant wear. Many lower-cost options simply aren't built to withstand the level of play they receive. This larger, sturdier model would better meet his sensory needs while providing a safer and longer-lasting option for years to come. Having this wish granted would give Zebo the chance to experience something many children take for granted—a birthday celebration where he feels special, included, and celebrated. The water slide would create opportunities for positive social interactions and allow him to connect with other children through an activity he genuinely enjoys, without the pressure of traditional social situations. Beyond his birthday, this gift would continue to bring joy throughout the summer and beyond. It would provide hours of active outdoor play, create lasting memories, and offer a source of fun and connection during a season of life that has included many challenges and transitions.
