Elizabeth is a diligent young woman who has faced significant challenges at her age, particularly since her father was deported. With her mother needing to work outside the home more to support the family, Elizabeth will have to take on additional childcare responsibilities for the younger kiddo in the family.

Elizabeth wants to take online classes so she can better support her family. Since her dad was deported, her mom has been working more, and Elizabeth has really stepped up at home. She wants to be available whenever her mom needs help, whether that’s with household chores or caring for the baby. Elizabeth is very aware of everything going on around her and is a hardworking young woman who wants to help in any way she can. An iPad would allow her to keep up with her junior year of high school while also staying at home and supporting her family. It would also help her stay connected with friends and keep up with schoolwork during a time that has been especially difficult and isolating.
