Jayden has spent much of his life in and out of DCS custody due to his parents’ substance use. He was also exposed to substance use at a young age, which has made his own journey with sobriety especially challenging. He has struggled at times, including running away, but has recently made a significant change. Jayden is beginning to understand that the choices he makes today will impact his future. He has started making better decisions and is showing real growth and maturity. Most importantly, he is now looking forward to building a more stable and positive future for himself.

Jayden once had an Xbox One that was given to him by his father before he passed away. Unfortunately, while he was in a different group home, it was stolen. Jayden is now in a safer and more stable environment, and he would really like to have a way to relax and unwind by playing video games again. Gaming has been an important comfort for him and also brings back positive memories of the time he spent playing with his father.
