Rose is the oldest of four children and takes on a caring, active role in her family. She loves spending time with her siblings and enjoys simple joys like playing outside, walking to the park, playing with her dolls, and watching TV together. Her family is currently receiving support from DCFS as they work toward greater stability. Rose’s days are filled with imagination, movement, and sibling connection, and she continues to find comfort in play and time spent with the people she loves most.

Rose and her siblings will be attending summer camp for the first time this year. Rose's siblings have been diagnosed with autism, and Rose is in the process of getting a diagnosis herself. There are some behavioral concerns with all three children, which are being addressed. The hope is that summer camp will provide them with lots of fun and help manage their behaviors. Their counselor is working with them and has set up a rewards chart. A gift card to their local ice cream shop, which they can walk to with their mother since she doesn’t drive, would be the perfect reward for positive behaviors!
