NJ DCFS - Monmouth CountyGabe is an adorable little boy who loves to climb, run, and play. He especially enjoys going for walks and spending time at the park. He also likes Spider-Man and watching TV. Gabe is currently being supported by New Jersey DCFS as he continues to grow and enjoy the things that make him happy.
Gabe and his siblings will be attending summer camp for the first time this year. Both Gabe and his twin sister have been diagnosed with autism, and there are some behavioral concerns with all of the children that are currently being addressed. The hope is that summer camp will provide them with a lot of fun while also helping to manage their behaviors. Their counselor is working with them and has set up a rewards chart. A gift card to their local ice cream shop, which they can walk to with their mother—since she doesn't drive—would be the perfect reward for demonstrating good behavior!
